Lewis Awarded Player of the Week Honor

BOSTON - Boston University's leading scorer Lindsay Lewis (Glenelg, MD) picked up her first award of the season as she was selected the America East Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week on April 12.
Lewis, who totaled 10 points in two games last week, has anchored the Terrier attack all season. On the year, she leads the team in points (35), goals (24), assists (11), and draw controls (26).
Last week, Lewis had five goals and five assists in two games.
In B.U.'s 14-6 win over America East-rival UMBC on April 10, Lewis had a game-high six points off two goals and four assists.
In the Terriers 11-10 overtime loss to Harvard on April 7, Lewis had three goals and an assist.
With her scores in both games, Lewis extended her program-record consecutive goal-scoring streak to 25 games.
Boston University (4-6, 2-0) hosts Brown University on Wednesday, April 14, before taking on conference-rival New Hampshire at home on Saturday, April 17.
