No. 10 Dartmouth Defeats Boston University, 10-4

Hanover, N.H. - The 10th-ranked Dartmouth College Big Green defeated visiting Boston University, 10-4, in Hanover on Wednesday, April 28.
Kristen Zimmer led the Big Green (10-3, 6-1) with two goals and an assist. Sophomore midfielder Lindsay Lewis (Glenelg, MD) had a goal and an assist for the Terriers (6-9, 3-1).
Five different players had single-goal efforts as Dartmouth took a 5-0 lead in the first half. B.U. did not register its first goal of the game until sophomore midfielder Kaitlyn Cuneo (Marlton, NJ) scored off a feed from junior attacker Kelly Trahon (Needham, MA) with 41 seconds remaining in the half.
Freshman attacker Angie Martin (Catonsville, MD) and Lewis scored back-to-back goals in the first 4:20 of the second half to cut the deficit to 5-3.
Dartmouth answered with three consecutive goals to stretch the lead to 8-3 with 12:22 left to play.
Senior midfielder Hannah Cross (Concord, MA) tallied the Terriers' final goal off a pass from Lewis at 11:34 in the second half.
Katieanne Christian and Kate Killen each scored their second goals of the game to give the Big Green the 10-4 victory.
Devon Willis made five stops in net for Dartmouth. Junior goalkeeper Anne Sheridan (Baltimore, MD) had a game-high six saves for the Terriers.
Sophomore defender Michelle Bussichella (Winchester, MA) anchored the Terrier defense with a game-high six ground balls and two caused turnovers. Bussichella raised her season caused turnover total to 28, which is the 10th-highest single-season total in program history. Gabby Juocys ('02) holds B.U.'s record for caused turnovers in a season (41 in 2002) and in a career (107 from 1999-02).
Dartmouth caused 13 of B.U.'s game-high 19 turnovers and held a 23-14 advantage in shots.
The Terriers close out their regular-season with a pair of conference road games. B.U. plays at Albany on Friday, April 30, at 4:00 p.m., and at Binghamton on Sunday, May 2, at 12:00 p.m.
