BOSTON - While anchoring a stifling Terrier defense, sophomore Michelle Bussichella (Winchester, MA) was selected as the America East Defender of the Week as announced on April 5.
Bussichella and the Terriers allowed just nine goals in two games last week, including a 13-2 win over conference-rival Vermont on April 3.

In the America East opener against Vermont, Bussichella totaled four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
This is the first conference award for Bussichella. On the season, she leads the Terriers in both ground balls with 18 and caused turnovers with 13.
