Terriers Lead New England Team At National Tournament

Bethlehem, PA - Rising junior attacker Lindsay Lewis (Glenelg, MD) and rising senior goalkeeper Anne Sheridan (Baltimore, MD) paced New England to the Division I Club title at the 71st annual US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament at Lehigh University on May 29-30.
Lewis and Sheridan led New England to its first Division I title since 1999. The squad went 4-1 in pool play and defeated the Mid Atlantic Team, 12-5, in the title game to claim the President's Cup.
Rising sophomore attacker Angie Martin (Catonsville, MD) played for the New England Division III Club Team, which posted a 4-1 record in pool play.
Boston University returns 11 of 12 starters and 19 letterwinners for the 2005 season. In 2004, the Terriers posted a 9-10 overall record, a 5-1 mark in America East play, and reached the America East title game for the sixth consecutive season.
