Sheridan, Hauser Pick Up America East Weekly Awards

BOSTON - Senior goalkeeper Anne Sheridan (Baltimore, MD) and freshman attacker Jenny Hauser (Alexandria, VA) were selected as America East Women's Lacrosse weekly honorees on Monday, April 11.
Sheridan was named America East Defender of the Week and Hauser was named Rookie of the Week. Both Sheridan and Hauser have received three America East weekly honors this season.
The Terriers (9-1, 2-0) opened the week with a 17-9 win over Harvard on April 6. B.U. also posted a 16-4 over conference rival UMBC on April 9.
Sheridan made a game- and season-high 18 saves against the Crimson and totaled seven saves while allowing just four goals against the Retrievers. On the season, Sheridan leads America East in both goals against average (6.96) and save percentage (.601).
Hauser tallied seven points off five goals and two assists in the two wins last week. She is B.U.'s leading goal scorer with 25 in the first 10 games while ranking third on the team in both assists (9) and points (34).
B.U. wraps up its six-game homestand this week as it hosts fourth-ranked Georgetown on Monday, April 11, and America East foe Binghamton on Sunday, April 17.
