Terriers Embark On Australia Trip

BOSTON - The Boston University women's lacrosse team will be departing for a 15-day tour through Eastern Australia, the first in program history, on Wednesday, June 1.
The Terriers start off their trans-Pacific tour with a stop in Sydney where they will play the New South Wales Club and take a few days of sightseeing. The Terriers are scheduled to visit the famous Sydney Opera House, Bondi Beach, along with harbor cruises exploring Circular Quay, Manly Beach, the Sydney Aquarium, the National Art Gallery and an opportunity to experience the Blue Mountains.
B.U. will then fly north to the Gold Coast where they will face off against the Queensland State Lacrosse Team. After three days in the Gold Coast, the Terriers will travel further north to Cairns where they will take in the amazing sights of the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. The Terriers will even brave the waters down under as they spend an afternoon whitewater rafting.
