Lacrosse Announces 2006 Fall Schedule

BOSTON - The Boston University women’s lacrosse team has announced its 2006 fall schedule. Four of the five matches will be played at BU’s Nickerson Field, including the Beanpot Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Terriers will go on the road once in the fall, when they travel to New Haven, Conn., for the Yale Tournament on Sunday, Oct. 15.
The team opens its fall schedule with a mid-day match-up with Holy Cross at Nickerson Field, followed by the Beanpot Tournament on Sept. 30. The tournament teams will consist of BU, Boston College, Harvard University and Brown University, who has been added to the competition this year. The tournament will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., that day.
On Friday, Oct. 6, the UConn Huskies come to Boston for a 7:30 p.m. game. The following weekend the Terriers travel to New Haven, Conn., for the Yale Tournament. Games times for the Yale Tournament will be announced as soon as they are determined.
The Terriers close out their fall schedule with their Alumnae Game on Saturday, Oct. 21 at noon.
