31 Days of Giveaways Raffle Underway

BOSTON - The Boston University lacrosse team headed to Australia this summer and you can help them on their way and have a chance to win outstanding prizes with the team's "31 Days of Giveaways" raffle in December. The Terriers are picking one winner each day in December to take home prizes including gift cards, tickets to sporting events, vacations and BU merchandise.
"We're looking forward to the opportunity to travel the entire team abroad to Australia this coming June 2009," said head coach Liz Robertshaw. "In 2005 we made this journey and it was a fantastic experience for every player and helped us to spread BU lacrosse and Terrier Pride internationally. The team has done a great job of fundraising to help with the cost of the 13-day venture and with the wonderful support of the BU community we're excited to announce our `31 Days of Giveaways' raffle. The prizes are great and I know every person will see something that interests them from dining gift certificates to Bruins tickets and weekend stays at the newly opened Courtyard Marriott Cambridge. I know I'm buying tickets in the hopes of winning!"
Each day in December, one winner will be drawn to win that day's prize and all entrants will be e-mailed the result of the daily drawing. A calendar of all prizes is available here. Winners should contact the BU lacrosse office at asherid@bu.edu or (617) 353-8458 to claim their prize.
