BOSTON - Head coach Liz Robertshaw has announced that Around the Crease Lacrosse will host a preseason training clinic for high school players on Jan. 11 at the Track and Tennis Center. The ATC Preseason Training Session promises to improve your individual stick work, agility, shooting skills and confidence within the game. This session will offer you the opportunity to sharpen your team play in small-sided and full-field games while being coached by the best! Coaches include Robertshaw and BU assistant coaches Anne Sheridan and Katie Linnertz in addition to members of the 2009 Terriers.
The session will also feature the Anne Sheridan Goalie School, a specialized curriculum tailored to the goalkeeper position run by All-American goalkeeper Sheridan. Technique, positioning, communication and scrimmage play will be covered. All skill levels are welcome and all training will be individualized.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cost $75, which includes an ATC Aussie Tour t-shirt. For more information, see the event flyer and register online. Contact Sheridan with questions at (617) 353-8458 or e-mail wlax@bu.edu.
