Senior Sarah Dalton of the Boston University lacrosse team is one of six nominees for best senior attack in the 2009 Laxpower Fan Awards. Fans can vote for Dalton from now through Friday (May 8) online at Laxpower.com.
Dalton is nominated alongside Hillary Bowen and Hanna Nielsen of Northwestern, Jillian Byers of Notre Dame, Carolyn Davis of Duke and Katie Rowan of Syracuse.
Dalton leads the nation with 86 goals this season, a BU record, and was a unanimous choice for her second America East Player of the Year award this season. She was most recently named the Most Outstanding Player of the America East Championship after scoring a tournament-record 11 goals in two games.
