
William & Mary Defeats Women's Tennis, 6-1

ALLSTON, Mass. - Facing its fourth-ranked team of the season, the No. 67 Boston University women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 75 William & Mary at Harvard on Friday afternoon. Seeing its five-match win streak snapped, the Terriers drop to 5-3, while the Tribe improves to 5-4.
Starting the spring ranked 56th, William & Mary won two of the three doubles contests for the first point and then claimed five of the six singles matches for the team victory.
Junior Stefanie Nunic led BU with a dominating performance at the top singles spot, winning 6-1, 6-1.
The Terriers will return to action at the Track and Tennis Center on Sunday against Akron with action set to begin at 10 a.m.
