Both teams are coming off 4-0 conference wins on Friday, as the Terriers blanked Holy Cross and the Minutewomen downed Davidson.
BU has won four of its past five contests while Massachusetts is 5-1 in its past six games after a 2-7 start to the season.
The Terriers hold a 19-15-2 advantage all-time against the Minutewomen but had a 10-game win streak in the series snapped last year in a 3-1 loss at New Balance Field.
Six Minutewomen have double-digit point totals this season. Freshman Melanie Kreusch, a native of Belgium, shares the team lead in points with sophomore Hailey Cockrum at 14. Kreusch has a squad-best six goals. Junior Brooke Sabia (4g, 3a) and sophomore Izzie Delario (2g, 7a) each have 11 points on the year.
Junior Sam Carlino has started all 15 games for UMass and boasts a 1.67 goals-against average and a .747 save percentage.
Amanda Cassera continues to have a strong sophomore campaign for the Terriers with team highs in points (17) and goals (7). Three other Terriers have 11 points on the year. Sophomores Hester van der Laan and Taylor Blodd each have five goals and one assist while junior Sofi Laurito has three goals and a team-best five assists.
Senior goalkeeper Valentina Cerda Eimbcke has allowed just three goals over the past five games and now sports a .742 save percentage and a 1.61 goal-against average.
