TODAY'S GAME
• BU returns home and resumes its Patriot League schedule against Lafayette on Saturday afternoon.
• First draw is set for 1 p.m. on Nickerson Field.
• Past Terriers will be in attendance and will be recognized at halftime.
TERRIER TIDBITS
• Mallory Collins had a career milestone against Navy, scoring her 100th point with a goal against the Mids. She is the only active player to reach 100 career points.
• Caroline Meegan is ranked 22nd nationally and second in the Patriot League in save percentage, posting a .475 average this season. She has also stopped the second-most goals per game in the conference, 8.56, which places her 19th among all Division I goalies.
• Collins, the team's point and goal leader, averages 2.56 goals per game, the fourth-best average in the conference.
• As a team, the Terriers have some of the best goaltending in the league. The Terriers average a Patriot League-leading 9.25 saves per game and a .493 save pct., the second-best mark in the conference and the 13th-best mark nationally.
• Junior Jill Horka reached a career milestone against Massachusetts, recording an assist to total 50 career points. She is one of 3 current players to have 50+ points.
• After making it to the PL Championship Game last season, the Terriers were again picked to finish third in the conference this season. BU was a No. 3 seed in the tournament with the 3rd-best regular season record (5-3).
• 2014 All-Patriot League First Team honoree Horka, who led BU last season with 29 goals and was second on the team with 35 points, was named to the Preseason All-Patriot League Team. In addition to her offensive output, Horka led BU with 46 draw controls and 24 caused turnovers in 2014.
• Senior Lindsay Weiner, a 2014 All-League Second Team selection, was named a captain along with classmate Siobhan McCarthy. Weiner was last year's point and assist leader, totaling 42 points including 20 assists, the only Terrier to reach double-digit helpers last season.
SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS
• The Leopards are 2-9 overall have won just one conference game so far this season, beating Holy Cross. 13-9 last week.
• Lafayette is the lowest scoring team in the conference, averaging under eight goals per game so far this year. They also allow the most goals among Patriot League teams, letting over 14 shots get past them in each contest.
• Kristen Wilhelmsen leads the team with 26 goals and 29 points. Amanda Case and Charlotte Rath are also key contributors, tallying 19 points each.
BU VS. LAFAYETTE
• Saturday marks just the second meeting between the Leopards and the Terriers.
• BU bested Lafayette last season, 9-8, to take a 1-0 series lead.
LAST TIME OUT
• BU suffered a loss to Yale on Wednesday, dropping a 14-6 decision on the Bulldogs' turf.
• Mallory Collins led the team with two goals, both on free position shots.
• Jenny Thompson scored her first goal of the season with a second-half strike.
