WEDNESDAY’S GAME
• BU finishes its non-conference schedule on Wednesday afternoon when the Terriers host New Hampshire.
• Opening draw is set for 4 p.m. on Nickerson Field. The game will air live on the Patriot League Network.
TERRIER TIDBITS
• Ally Adams is the team’s points leader with 30 so far this season, totaling 20 goals and 10 assists. Mallory Collins and Mickenzie Larivee lead the team in goals with 24 each so far this season while Taylor Hardison has the most assists, dishing out 21 in 2016.
• Jill Horka leads the team in draw controls after grabbing six or more in five of the last nine games. After setting a new season standard in the category last year (68), Horka has 48 so far in 2016 and took over as the BU all-time leader last weekend against Lehigh.
• Four Terriers have 20 or more points so far this season, including Adams (30), Collins (29), Larivee (28) and Hardison (23). Horka is not far behind this group with 19 points this season.
• After making it to the PL Championship semifinal round last season, the Terriers were again picked to finish third in the conference this season. BU was a No. 4 seed in the tournament with the 4th-best regular season record (5-3).
• BU returns six of BU’s seven top-scorers including Collins, who led the team with 40 points (38g, 2a) last season.
• All 7 seniors were picked as captains this season after deciding as a class that they all wanted to take on the leadership role.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
• New Hampshire is 6-6 so far this season and enters the game on a three-game win streak, defeating UMass Lowell, Binghamton and, most recently, Vermont.
• As a team, the Wildcats average 10.42 goals per game, which is just slightly ahead of their opponents, which average 10.17 goals per game.
• Laura McHoul leads UNH with 38 points so far this season including a team-high 26 assists.
• Carly Wooters leads the team in goal scoring with 21 this season and seven Wildcats have scored more than ten goals this year. Four UNH players currently have 20 or more points on the season.
• Kate Clancy has started all 12 games for the Wildcats and has a 10.55 goals against average and .435 save percentage.
THE SERIES
• BU and UNH have the longest series in Terrier history, totaling 37 games in 25 seasons. BU leads all-time with a 23-14 record.
• The pair first met in 1983 and has played at least one game against each other in every season since.
• BU has played UNH a total of 12 times in postseason contest, 11 in the America East Tournament and once in the NCAA First Round in 2008.
•Last season, BU suffered a 9-8 overtime loss at New Hampshire in the penultimate game of the regular season.
