BOSTON – Resuming its two-game road trip, the Boston University women's basketball will head to Vermont for a 2 p.m. tip on Sunday, Dec. 3, which can be seen live on ESPN3.
LAST TIME OUT
- Led by 56 points from its bench and a hot-shooting third quarter, BU powered past Bryant, 78-61, in its first-ever series matchup Wednesday night at the Chace Athletic Center.
- BU's 27 points in the third marked BU's highest output in a single quarter this season. During the frame, the Terriers hit on 10-of-19 from the floor (52.2 percent) and 4-of-5 (80 percent) from beyond-the-arc.
- The bench account for 71 percent of its scoring total on the night.
- Nia Irving posted game-highs of 16 points and seven rebounds.
- With the win, the Terriers are off to their first 4-2 start since the 2007-08 season.

- Sophie Beaudry leads the Patriot League with 2.7 blocks per game.
- The senior led the league with 2.1 blocks per game a season ago and was named to both the All-Patriot League First Team and the All-Defensive Team.
- As a team, the Terriers lead the Patriot League with 5.83 blocks per game.
- BU swatted a season-high 11 shots against Boston College on Sunday.

- Payton Hauck ranks second in the Patriot League with a .533 shooting percentage, while Katie Nelson ranks fifth with a .405 shooting clip.

- Tenisha Pressley notched a career-high 15 points at Bryant Wednesday night.
SPARK PLUGS
- Nia Irving has sparked BU's bench this season as she ranks third on the team in rebounding (5.) and ranks fourth in scoring (8.8).
- Irving has led the team in scoring in two out of six games so far and is shooting .474 percent from the floor.
- Naiyah Thompson has heated up over the last two games as she has reached double-digit scoring figures in each and recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds against Boston College on Sunday.
SCOUTING VERMONT
- The Catamounts are coming off a 64-49 loss to Rider on Friday night to slip to 2-6 on the season.
- Vermont has dropped its last four, though its lone victories of the season has come at Patrick Gymnasium.
- Candice Wright set the all-time blocks record on Friday with her 103rd swat.
- Stella Johnson carried the offense with a career-high 28 points against Rider.
- Hanna Crymble is Vermont's top scoring threat as she leads the team with 18.5 points per game and also leads the team with a 6.3 rebounds per game.
