Macone Named to PL All-Academic Team

Center Valley, Pa. - Senior Janelle Macone of the Boston University women's lacrosse team has been named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference Wednesday.
To be eligible for the Academic All-Patriot League Team, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and be a starter or key player in his/her sport. Freshmen or students in their first academic year at their school are not eligible for the honor.
Macone, who will be graduating this month with a degree in business administration and management, picked up her second-straight All-Academic selection after posting a 3.61 GPA.
A team captain, she adds her second postseason honor this month as she was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team for the second year in-a-row on Monday.
