Women's Lacrosse Set to Host Fall Clinics
August 28, 2017 | Women's Lacrosse
BOSTON - The Boston University women's lacrosse program has announced three playing opportunities in the coming months for players interested in sharpening their skills for the fall tournament season, and taking a deeper look into what the BU lacrosse program has to offer. The Terriers will host two BU Experience Clinics (Sept. 30 and Oct. 29) in addition to hosting the 14th annual 4v4 Terrier Challenge and Clinic (Oct. 1).
The BU Experience Clinics will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Nickerson Field. Both BU Experience Clinics will focus on position-specific skill building, and small-sided play knowledge. The layout of the clinic allows for athletes to show what they've learned in a full-field scrimmage and evaluation to cap off the afternoon. Following the clinic, there will be an optional tour of West Campus hosted by the BU staff and a Q&A session for those interested from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. The cost is $125 per player.
The 4v4 Terrier Challenge and Clinic will be hosted on Nickerson Field from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. All teams must have a minimum of seven players, including a goalie. Players without a team may sign up as an individual, and will be placed on a house team. The cost is $50 per player.
