BOSTON - Highlighted by eight games at Nickerson Field, the Boston University women's lacrosse team has released its 2019 schedule, as announced by head coach Lauren Morton on Tuesday.
The 32nd season of Terrier Lacrosse includes 17 games, starting with a trip to NCAA runner-up Boston College (Feb. 9) that precedes the home opener with UMass Lowell. BU will return to the road at Hartford (Feb. 23) and close out the month back home against Fairfield (Feb. 27).
Following hosting Southern California (March 3), the Terriers will kick start a three-game road trip, which concludes with the Patriot League opener at Lehigh (March 16). BU will return to Nickerson Field for matchups against Lafayette (March 23) and Colgate (March 27), while Loyola Maryland (March 31) will host the Terriers in a rematch of last season's Patriot League Tournament semifinal matchup.
After returning home for a tilt with American (April 6), the team will open up another three-game road trip, setting up back-to-back home games with Army West Point (April 20) and Navy (April 25) to close out the regular season.
The Patriot League Tournament will begin with the quarterfinal round on April 28 before the semifinals and final at the league's top seed on May 4 and 6.
