Terriers Earn IWLCA Academic Honor Squad Honors; Andersen, Laible Named to Honor Roll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. - Seniors Sarah Andersen and Christine Laible of the Boston University women's lacrosse team earned spots on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll, while the collective efforts of the team in the classroom led to it being recognized on the Division I Academic Honor Squad, the association announced Monday.
To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be at least an academic junior. To qualify as a Division I Academic Honor Squad, teams must post a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Andersen posted a 4.0 GPA in the spring semester as she graduated from the School of Hospitality in hospitality administration. Laible graduated from the Questrom School of Business with a degree in business administration & management and posted a cumulative GPA of 3.89.
This marks the second straight selection to the IWLCA Honor Roll for both Andersen and Laible.
As a team, the Terriers posted a 3.13 GPA during the 2017-18 academic year to earn their fifth straight selection to the DI Academic Honor Squad.
