Terriers to Trek to Vermont for Weekend Series

The Boston University women's ice hockey team will travel to Vermont this weekend for a pair of games with the Catamounts. Puck drop on Saturday is set for 4 p.m., with Sunday's showdown to begin at 2 p.m.
ROAD WARRIORS
- BU is 6-2-0 on the road this season.
- The Terriers have outscored their opponents, 20-12, in those eight road contests.
HISTORY WITH VERMONT
- BU is 32-8-7 all-time against the Catamounts, including a 14-5-2 record at Gutterson Fieldhouse.
- The Terriers have outscored Vermont, 17-4, in their last three trips to Burlington.
- BU is 4-1-1 against UVM over the last two seasons, including a 2-0-1 mark last year.
LAST TIME AGAINST VERMONT
- The Catamounts jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 4:19 into the proceedings, but BU scored the next five goals, including three in the first period, en route to a 7-2 win at Vermont on Feb. 1.
- Sammy Davis led the Terriers with one goal and three assists for four points while Jesse Compher tallied a goal and two assists.
- Emma Wuthrich notched two goals while Mackenna Parker, Kristina Schuler and Deziray De Sousa also lit the lamp.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
- UVM is is 1-2-1 this month, with all four games decided by just one goal.

- Sophomore defenders Sini Karjalainen and Maude Poulin-Labelle lead the squad with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
- Karjalainen's 12 assists pace Vermont while Poulin-Labelle leads UVM with seven goals.
- Junior Val Caldwell (4g, 10a) joins Poulin-Labelle with 14 points while three other Catamounts have collected at least 10 points.
- Sophomore Blanka Škodová has started 11 of the 12 games in which she has appeared.
- She owns a .901 save percentage and a 2.06 goals-against average.
