
Yaloz Repeats as Patriot League Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After helping lead the Boston University women's tennis team to victory against defending Patriot League champion Army West Point, freshman Shelly Yaloz has repeated as the conference's Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
The award marks the third this season for the Queens, New York, native. In the top singles match, Yaloz rallied from a set down to defeat reigning PL Player and Rookie of the Year Ana Joyner, 6-7, 6-0, 7-6. She also teamed with sophomore Emily Kim for a 6-2 victory in the No. 2 doubles slot.
With the 7-0 sweep against the Black Knights, BU finished the regular season with a 6-0 mark in conference play. The Terriers will next head to Bucknell for the PL tournament on April 26-28 seeking their fifth NCAA berth in six years.
