
Women's Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team; Eight Terriers Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

BOSTON – For the fourth consecutive year, Boston University women's tennis has been recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team with eight student-athletes also receiving ITA Scholar-Athlete status. The eight honorees mark the most for BU in over 15 years.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have at least a 3.50 for the academic year.
The Terriers posted a BU athletic department-high 3.49 GPA for the academic year with the eight recognized members earning Patriot League Academic Honor Roll accolades a month prior.
Recent graduate Remi Ramos was honored as a ITA Scholar-Athlete for the fourth time while classmates Sophia Kryloff and Kaely Malik were recognized a third time alongside rising senior Clara Falxa.
Graduate Sabrina Faybyshev and rising junior Emily Kim both earned their second nods. Rising junior Katya Martens and sophomore Shelly Yaloz were recognized for the first time.
