HOW IT HAPPENED
- Schroeder made two big saves in the opening seconds of the game to keep the Huskies off the board.
- The Terriers settled into the contest and hard work in the offensive end led to their tally. Nearis protected the puck in the right corner before sliding it to Schuler, who cut to the front of the net. Schuler shifted the puck to De Sousa, who wristed the puck over Aerin Frankel's glove for the 1-0 advantage.
- Alina Mueller and Skylar Fontaine earned the Huskies' shorthanded goals at 5:07 and 10:26 of the second stanza, respectively.
- The Terriers battled tough in the third period and had a golden chance to equalize when they earned a five-minute power play with 5:45 remaining in regulation. BU generated four shots on goal with and without an extra attacker, but the Huskies were able to hang on for the win.
- De Sousa extended her point streak to three games (2g, 2a).
- She has notched a point in five of her last six contests, totaling four goals and three assists in that span.

- Schroeder has held the Huskies' third-ranked offense in the country to just three even-strength goals in her three starts against them.
- She now owns a .939 save percentage, which ranks sixth in the country.
- BU will host Vermont on Friday night at Walter Brown Arena.
- Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m., with the game being televised live on NESNplus.
