Women's Lacrosse Cancels Game at Jacksonville
March 10, 2020 | Women's Lacrosse
BOSTON - The Boston University women's lacrosse team has officially cancelled its game at Jacksonville that had been originally scheduled to take place on Monday, March 9, and was initially postponed.
Due to a number of BU women's lacrosse players still being treated for illness, and out of an abundance of caution, Boston University, in conjunction with the Boston Public Health Commission, ultimately determined that it would be best to cancel the team's trip to Florida. Both programs made every effort to ensure that the game went on as scheduled.
BU will return to action on Saturday (March 14) when it visits Colgate for its Patriot League opener. Game time in Hamilton, N.Y., is set for noon.
