Barry Named IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Continuing to rack up the accolades after a record-breaking performance, Boston University women's lacrosse midfielder Jennifer Barry has been named the IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week, the organization announced Wednesday.
Barry had a career day in BU's 17-12 win vs. Holy Cross on Saturday, breaking the program's single-game draw control record with 18 wins. The sophomore broke the previous mark of 13 in the first half, collecting 16 draws. Her 18 draw controls are the most of any Division I NCAA student-athlete in a single game this season.
Barry also was a force on the attack, scoring three goals on three shots for a new career high, and set additional career bests in assists (3) and points (6).
