
Vervlied Earns Third Patriot League Midfield of the Week Accolade

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - For the third time this season, Emily Vervlied of the Boston University women's lacrosse team has been named the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week.
Vervlied had a career day in leading the Terriers to a 15-14 Senior Day victory over Colgate, setting new highs in assists (6) and points (10) while reaching the 100-career point milestone. The senior was a force all over the field, leading the team in points, assists, goals (4), ground balls (4) and tied for the lead in caused turnovers (3).
Vervlied is having a sensational senior campaign, as she leads the team in points (45), assists (23), ground balls (22) and caused turnovers (15).
BU will await a Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal round matchup at Colgate on Monday, May 3.
