Vervlied Named to IWLCA All-Northeast Region Team

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Adding to her list of senior season accolades, Emily Vervlied of the Boston University women's lacrosse team has been named to the IWLCA All-Northeast Region Team, the organization announced Wednesday morning.
Vervlied, who was named to the All-Patriot League First Team as well as the All-Academic Team, earns her first IWLCA recognition with a spot on the All-Northeast Region Second Team.
The Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania product tore up the Patriot League, ranking second in assists per game (2.4), third in caused turnovers per game (1.5) and fourth in points per game (4.6).
The senior topped the charts on the team in points (46), assists (24), caused turnovers (15) and ground balls (22), and led BU in scoring in 7-of-10 games this spring.
