Women's Lacrosse Lands Four on All-Patriot League Teams

Emily Vervlied was named to the All-Patriot League First Team, marking her second career all-conference selection, while Jennifer Barry, Jenny Feeney and Makenzie Irvine made their debuts on the Second Team.
Vervlied claimed her first All-Patriot League First Team appearance after being a consistent standout at the midfield. The senior leads the team in points (45), assists (23), caused turnovers (15) and ground balls (22). Vervlied, a three-time Patriot League Midfielder of the Week this season, has eight multi-goal games and has produced at least three points in all but one game.
Barry makes her initial all-league appearance after leading the Patriot League in draw controls per game (8.1) and ranking 10th nationally. Barry had her statement game vs. Holy Cross, breaking the program's single-game draw control record (18) and set individual highs in goals (3), assists (3) and points (6).
Feeney, a three-year starter on the defense, additionally earned her first postseason accolade. Feeney has caused 10 turnovers and picked up 12 ground balls in assisting the Terriers to their seventh Patriot League Tournament berth.
Irvine, one of the conference's top threats on the attack, leads the team in goals (24) and has scored in all nine games. The senior has seven multi-goal efforts and owns a team-best 17-game point streak dating back to the 2019 season.
