Terrier Trio Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Three Terriers in Ryann Gaffney, Sarah Mazza and Emma Pfaff have been recognized for their impressive efforts in the classroom, as they were each named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, while BU as a team was additionally recognized as an IWLCA DI Academic Honor Squad, the organization announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be at least an academic junior. To qualify as a Division I Academic Honor Squad, teams must post a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Mazza, a junior, paced the Terriers with a 3.75 GPA as a human physiology major. Gaffney and Pfaff closed out their careers with strong showings in the classroom, as Gaffney finished with a 3.72 GPA as a communications major and Pfaff obtained a degree in health science with a 3.50 GPA.
