TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers fell to Lehigh at home, 13-12, on Apr. 16.
- In a game where neither team led by more than three goals, BU almost erased a 13-10, fourth-quarter deficit, but ran out of time on the final possession of the game.
- Junior Lauren Kaye tallied a career-high eight points off four goals and four assists, the most by a Terrier this season.
- Sophomore Tobey Tick also scored a career-best four goals, her first hat trick as a Terrier.
- As a team, the Terriers allowed just eight ground balls and six caused turnovers, both season-lows for an opponent.
- Kaye has registered 15 points on seven goals and eight assists in her last three games. She leads BU with 14 assists and 35 points.
- Tick has a six-game goal streak in progress. During that stretch, she has tallied 10 goals.
- Junior Jennifer Barry racked up 14 draw controls vs. the Mountain Hawks to give 224 in her career. She enters Saturday's game 12 shy of the all-time record, currently held by Jill Horka (236).
- This year, Barry's 141 draw controls rank third in the nation.
- Redshirt junior Teagan Lucchese notched her first-career multi-goal game against Lehigh, and has eight points in her last four contests.
- Junior Claire Gola and sophomore Kendall Sims are the two Terriers that have reached double figures in goals, ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls this season.
- On defense, graduate student Jenny Feeney's 20 ground balls paces the unit, while senior Riley Kokoruda has 17 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers.
SCOUTING THE BISON
- Bucknell enters the matchup with a 6-8 record, having lost three of their last four games.
- The Bison are 3-4 in PL play. Their last matchup was a 21-2 setback to No. 7 Loyola Maryland.
- Freshman Allie Boyce leads the team with 33 goals and 28 points. Three different Bison have 10-plus assists, led by rookie Taylor McClain's 11.
- Senior Abby Neff is top-five in the league in both caused turnovers per game (1.36) and ground balls per game (2.14).
- Bucknell leads the Patriot League and is 24th in the nation with 9.14 caused turnovers per game.
- The Bison were projected to finish eighth in the league after going 3-5 in PL action a season ago, tallying a 3-6 overall record.
SERIES HISTORY
- Saturday marks the ninth all-time meeting between BU and Bucknell in a series that began in 1996.
- The Terriers have the 7-1 lead in the series, having won the last seven contests since joining the Patriot League ahead of the 2014 season.
- Bucknell's lone win in the series, coming in the first meeting on Mar. 31, 1996, has been the only time the Bison scored more than 10 goals vs. BU (12).
- In the last game on Apr. 13, 2019, BU won 19-7. Kelly Matthews totaled a team-high four points as 12 different Terriers scored. Maddie MacMaster registered two goals, while Kennady Smith made five saves.
