Lauren Kaye Named To All-Patriot League Second Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the first time in her career, junior attacker Lauren Kaye has garnered All-Patriot League postseason recognition with a selection to the 2022 Second Team, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Kaye becomes the 15th Terrier to receive All-Patriot League Second Team honors since BU joined the league in 2014. Since that year, the Terriers have had representation on the postseason All-PL teams in every season where teams were announced.
The Madison, N.J. native enjoyed a breakout junior campaign, leading BU with 18 assists, 42 points, and seven free position goals. After scoring seven goals in each of her first two seasons, she scored 24 this year to rank second on the team.
Of her 16 appearances this year, Kaye registered at least one point in 15, multiple points in 12, and multiple goals in seven. That includes a career-best four-goal, four-assist performance against Lehigh on Apr. 16, the most points a Terrier scored in a game in 2022. She closed her junior year on a six-game points streak, notching 22 of her 42 points in that stretch.
Across three seasons, Kaye has recorded 38 goals and 22 assists for 60 points in 28 games. Her career shots on goal percentage stands and .798.
