Agres, Perfetto, Simpson Receive Nick Colleluori “HEAD” Award

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Senior Reilly Agres, sophomore Samantha Simpson and graduate student Louis Perfetto of the Boston University women's and men's lacrosse teams were named recipients of the Nick Colleluori "HEAD" Award, as announced by the HEADstrong Foundation.
The award is named after the founder of the HEADstrong Foundation, Nick Colleluori, who started the organization to raise awareness and funds for cancer by empowering athletes to support his mission. Specifically, the award recognizes a team's "Servant Leader" who exemplifies the relentless spirit of Colleluori.
Simpson received the award when BU was at UMass' Playday while Agres and Perfetto were bestowed the honor at BU's HEADstrong Playday. BU men's and women's lacrosse teamed up to host the HEADstrong Playday to support the expansion of Nick's House in Brookline. The women's squad raised $4,469 over both weekends and the men's squad raised $4,603 for the foundation.
The HEADstrong Foundation offers financial, residential and emotional support to families affected by cancer. The foundation works to provide resources for patients and their families who are receiving specialized cancer care throughout the country.
