Agres Named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Juniors Reilly Agres of the Boston University women's lacrosse team was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the week, the league announced Monday. Seniors Jennifer Barry, Claire Gola and junior Ellen Monahan all received honorable mentions.
Agres played the full 60 minutes against Bucknell and made 16 stops to allow BU to emerge with a 13-9 win. Her 16 stops set a season-high and tied a career-best performance in the category. The first time she made 16 stops was in the 2022 season, also against Bucknell. Agres' nod is her fourth this season.
Barry scored two goals and logged three assists against the Bison to earn an honorable mention for Attacker of the Week. Her five draw controls and two ground balls helped BU keep possession at key moments to maintain the lead.
Gola received an honorable mention for Midfielder of the Week after leading BU with five goals, including the first goal of the game. She also recorded three draw controls, caused two turnovers and scooped up two ground balls against the Bison.
Monahan was an honorable mention for Defender of the Week. The junior caused three draw controls and caused one turnover against Bucknell.
The Terriers head to American on Thursday for the final game of the regular season. Opening draw against the Eagles is set for 1 p.m.
