Women's Lacrosse Unveils 2025 Schedule

BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team will play 16 contests in 2025, as the program released the schedule for the team's 38th season Thursday afternoon.

The Terriers will open the year with four straight home contests, highlighted by a matchup with defending national champion Boston College on opening day, Sunday, Feb. 9. Following the home opener, NEC regular season champion Sacred Heart, Stonehill and 2024 NCAA Tournament qualifier Fairfield will all visit Nickerson Field in February.
Following the four-game homestand, BU will hit the road to face Iona on Feb. 22 for one game away from Boston before returning for a midweek game against Merrimack on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The Terriers took down both teams last year, winning 17-7 over Merrimack and 14-9 over Iona.
Patriot League play opens following a weekend break as BU will travel to Army West Point on March 8. Then the Terriers head to New Hampshire for a contest with the Wildcats on Wednesday, March 12.
It's back to PL contests to finish the season after that, beginning with a home game against Bucknell on Saturday, March 15, a home doubleheader with the men's lacrosse program. Next up is a road contest at Lafayette on March 22 before returning home to play defending PL runner-up Navy on Nickerson Field on March 29. That contest is also a doubleheader with the men's lacrosse program.
April kicks off with more conference play, as BU plays five conference games in 19 days, starting with a road contest at Lehigh on April 5 before coming home to play defending PL Champions and a perennial top-10 program in Loyola Maryland at Nickerson on April 12.
Next is a two-game road stand at Colgate (April 16) and American (April 19), and the Terriers will finish off the regular season with a matchup against Holy Cross at Nickerson Field on April 24.
Should it qualify, BU could play in the Patriot League postseason as early as April 27 in the quarterfinal game. Semifinals are set for May 1 and the Championship will take place on May 3.
