Nine Selected to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

BOSTON – Nine members of the Boston University women's lacrosse team were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, the IWLCA announced Wednesday. In addition, the team was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
Seniors Reilly Agres, Quinn Ferry, Ellen Monahan and Cassie Reinertson all earned spots on the honor roll. Juniors Raegan Bailey, Abby Cotraro, Avery Jones, Hannah Tillier and Avery Waters also made the honor roll.
Agres graduated in May with a degree in Health Science. She made one appearance in 2024 before suffering a season-ending injury. Her junior campaign was the best of her career as she saw Second Team All-Patriot League honors for the first time. Agres played 31 games with the Terriers and ended her career with 242 career saves.
Ferry also earned a degree in Health Science. She was third on the team in ground balls this season with 25 and started all 16 games. Her first and only career assist came against New Hampshire in the 2022 season.
Monahan, a Business Administration major, wrapped her career with 95 ground balls, 50 caused turnovers and 107 draw controls to her name. She led BU's defensive efforts in the 2024 season and was named to the Second Team All-Patriot League. Offensively, she owned nine goals in two assists in her four years, including a goal at then-No. 3 Boston College in 2024. Monahan was also named to the CSC Academic All-District Team this year.
Reinertson completed a degree in Hospitality Administration and appeared in nine games in 2024. She scored 10 goals as a Terrier, two of which came against ranked opponents this season. While this is her first appearance on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, she has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll three times.
Bailey is pursuing a degree in Hospitality Administration. The junior transfer appeared in all 16 games and made three starts in 2024. Her 16 goals was fifth-best on the team and she scored a season best four goals in the Patriot League opener at Bucknell.
Cotraro is a Business Administration major who started five of 16 games this season. Her 21 goals in 2024 marks a season best and she was fourth on the team in points with 23. Six of her goals came on the free position and she corralled 12 draws.
Jones, a Neuroscience major, started all 16 games in 2024. She scored 13 goals and recorded four assists for the best offensive season of her career. Jones is also a three-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
Tillier is majoring in Health Science and was the Terriers' leader in points this season with 36. She owned 25 goals and led BU with 11 assists in her junior campaign. The junior also led BU in free position goals with eight.
Waters, also a Health Science major, made eight appearances and five starts in the 2024 season. She scooped up three ground balls and caused one turnover on the field. Waters was also named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
