BOSTON — The Boston University women's lacrosse team will host No. 15/16 Loyola Maryland in a Saturday matinee on Nickerson Field. Opening draw is scheduled for 12 p.m.
The Terriers are coming off a 15-14 loss to Lehigh in overtime and are looking to get back on track in Patriot League play.
BU will honor its senior class of Raegan Bailey, Abby Cotraro, Kendall Sims, Avery Jones, Hannah Tillier, Avery Waters and student manager Cooper Virta with a pregame on-field ceremony.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Terriers suffered a 15-14 overtime loss to the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on the road on Saturday, April 5.
- Lehigh trailed by three goals with just over three minutes to play in regulation, but rallied to tie the game with under a minute to play and eventually win in overtime.
- Sophomore Izabella Amonte scored three goals for the Terriers.
- Sophomore Izabella Amonte has scored 30 goals this season and has 34 points, leading the team in both categories.
- With her four goals against Lafayette earlier this year, Amonte became the first Terrier to score 20-plus goals in her first 10 career games since 2012, when Mallory Collins had 31 in her first 10 games.
- In net, sophomore Natalie Aiosa has been stuffing the stat sheet – she leads the Patriot League in save percentage (.486) and is second in the PL in saves per game (10.00). In the NCAA rankings, Aiosa is 15th in save percentage and 17th in saves per game.
- BU's defense has excelled this season averaging just 10.67 goals against per game. That mark ranks 44th in the country and third in the PL.
- Senior Hannah Tillier sits just five points away from 100 career points.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Barton has been a force on the draw this season, grabbing 54 this year. She is ninth in the PL in draw controls per game (4.50).
- Graduate student Kendall Sims has shown off her true midfield presence in her final year, leading BU in ground balls (27) while scoring 10 goals and causing eight turnovers.
- Sims is fourth in the PL in ground balls per game (2.60) entering the weekend and is 37th in the country.
- The Greyhounds are once again the class of the Patriot League and have gotten off to a 6-0 start in league play.
- Loyola Maryland is second in the league in scoring offense with 14.57 goals per game and is second in scoring defense, allowing just 10.64 goals per game.
- Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American First Teamer Chase Boyle leads the Patriot League in goals with 49 and sits at 12th in the nation.
- Georgia Latch has racked up 78 points, good for third in NCAA DI.
- Goalkeeper Lauren Spence has stopped 46.5% of the shots on goal she's faced, a rate that is third in the PL, and has made 8.50 saves per game.
- BU is 2-15 against the Greyhounds all-time, with BU's last win coming in 2007.
- The Greyhounds won 18-7 in Baltimore last year.
- Elle Stevenson and Alex Cutone each scored twice in the loss while Raegan Bailey and Avery Jones added a goal each.
