BOSTON – Boston University women's tennis once again was recognized for having one of the top mid-major recruiting classes according to TennisRecruiting.net. The Terriers' two incoming freshmen ranked No. 17 in the website's poll which was second-best in the Patriot League. Lauren Kettlewell and Vasilisa Borisova will join BU in the fall.
The TRN mid-major rankings include colleges outside of the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC and the Ivy League. Head coach

Lauren Kettlewell
Kettlewell is a five-star recruit out of Doral, Fla. She ranked as high as 45th nationally in the 2025 recruiting class on April 30. The freshman boasts a southeast region recruit ranking of No. 16 and is the No. 9 recruit out of Florida. She also has two wins over blue chip recruits and is unbeaten against four-star recruits according to TRN.
Vasilisa Borisova
Borisova joins BU from Spain and is the first Terrier from the country since the 2003-04 season when Elena deMendoza and Elisa Glas, both from Spain, were seniors. She has ranked as high as No. 456 in the ITF in singles and as high as No. 1555 in WTA doubles. She also owns one ITF junior title.
