In a game that will determine the Patriot League regular-season title and top seed for next weekend's league tournament, the Boston University field hockey team will close out its regular season on Friday (Oct. 30) with a visit to No. 15 Lafayette. Game time at Rappolt Field is set for 6 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

The Terriers are coming off a two-win home weekend with come-from-behind victories over Colgate and Northeastern.
BU has had 14 players score at least one this season, the most since the 2018 team also had 14.
Sophomore Lucy Johnson continues to lead all Patriot League players in points (29) and goals (13).
Graduate student Caroline O'Brien, who had a six-game point streak come to an end on Sunday, has 22 points on nine goals and four assists.
Senior midfielder Nicole Lauro, now a three-time PL Midfielder of the Week, has 14 points (5g, 4a).
Senior back Alex Purcell (4g, 5a) and sophomore Molly Driscoll (5g, 3a) have added 13 points apiece.
Senior Sophie Ortyl and sophomore Anna Wilson have split time in goal this season, combining for a 2.50 goals-against average and a .624 save percentage.
Graduate student Maddie Hudson and senior Maggie Driscoll are serving as co-captains for the 2026 season.

SCOUTING LAFAYETTE

Lafayette is ranked 15th nationally and sits at No. 17 in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (17).
The Leopards are on a five-game win streak, most recently earning a 2-1 home win over Brown on Sunday.
Both of Lafayette's losses this season were by a single goal and came at the hands of Northwestern and Penn State, who are currently ranked No. 1 and No. 14, respectively.
The Leopards are a perfect 9-0 at home this season.
Senior Lena Thedrian leads the team in both points (25) and goals (11) while classmate Katie Gibb has 22 points on the strength of a PL-best 14 assists.
Sophomore Rosalie van Gool (5g, 4a) and senior Stella Malinowski (6g, 1a) have 14 and 13 points, respectively.
Junior Addison Kahn has started all 16 games in goal and leads all PL goalkeepers in save percentage (.800) and goals-against average (.720).
Kahn is tied for third nationally in save percentage and is fourth in goals-against average.

SERIES HISTORY

The Terriers are an even 8-8 against the Leopards all-time as last year's 3-2 victory in the PL title game ended a six-game skid in the series.
The teams have split six meetings in Easton.

LOOKING AHEAD
