Geddes Named Patriot League Midfielder of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After totaling seven goals in a pair of victories, Boston University women's lacrosse junior Tessa Geddes earned Patriot League Midfielder of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
A native of Winchester, Massachusetts, she first earned a game-high four goals during the 15-10 win over Colgate and followed up with three goals and an assist in the 13-4 victory at Bucknell. Her efforts helped the Terriers clinch a spot in the PL tournament for the first time since 2023, which also featured the program's last Midfielder of the Week honoree.
Finishing 3-for-4 on free positions, Geddes notched two ground balls, six draw controls and three caused turnovers during the week while helping the Terriers hold the Bison to a season-low total of goals scored. The fourth score in the first contest against the Raiders marked her 100th career point.
BU will next conclude the regular season at Holy Cross on Thursday (April 23) with a 5 p.m. start time.
