Started all 18 games for the Terriers as part of the zone defense … Contributed to the Terriers’ defensive efforts, which allowed 10.54 goals against per game (third in the Patriot League) … Finished the season with 24 ground balls (fourth on the team) and nine caused turnovers while accruing no yellow cards … Began her season with a ground ball in a win over New Hampshire (Feb. 6) … Picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover at Stonehill (Feb. 11) … Snagged three ground balls and caused a career-high three caused turnovers against No. 23 Army West Point … Scooped up three ground balls in a 16-3 win over American (March 28) … Helped topple Colgate (April 15) with three ground balls … In her Patriot League Championship debut at No. 23 Loyola Maryland, Burns had three ground balls.
