Terriers Softball Sweeps Iona

BOSTON - Boston University held Iona to just two hits as they swept the Gaels, 5-0 and 5-0, at Malvern Field.
In the first game, sophomore Robyn King (Ashby, MA) pitched a one-hitter, striking out nine to earn her ninth victory of the season. The Terriers scored two runs in both the third and fifth innings. Courtney Herr (New Windsor, NY) drove in two runs, and her sister, Kerry, had two hits for the Terriers
In the second game, junior Mary Colleran (Valencia, CA) allowed just one hit, while striking out six and walking none. B.U. scored three times in the sixth inning to break open the game. Freshman Aryn Rangel (Greeley, CO) hit a RBI double to highlight the inning.
