Solfaro Becomes Winningest Softball Coach in School History

BOSTON - Boston University head softball coach Deb Solfaro became the winningest coach in school history when she earned up her 135th victory on April 1 against Iona College.
Solfaro (5th season, 135-70) passed former Terrier mentor Laurie LeGoff (1990-94, 134-76).
Solfaro, a native of Cornwall, NY, came to Boston University from the U.S. Military Academy, where she served five years as an assistant coach. Since 1995, Solfaro has guided the Terriers to four straight winning seasons, two 30-win campaigns, two America East Tournament titles, and one NCAA Tournament appearance (1996).
