BOSTON, MA (April 21) - Today and tomorrow's highly-anticipated America East softball doubleheaders between the top-two ranked teams in the conference, Boston University and Hofstra University, featuring America East Pitcher of the Week, Robyn King of the Terriers, and America East Player of the Week, Alicia Smith of the Flying Dutchwomen, have been postponed until further notice.
A consistent forecast of rain over the next two days forced the postponements.
The Terrier men's tennis team's America East Championship consolation match versus the University of New Hampshire at the U.S. Tennis Center in Flushing, NY has been cancelled. With the cancellation, head coach Rob Miller's squad's season came to an end.
The women's tennis America East Championship quarterfinal match featuring top-seeded and five-time defending champion Boston University versus fourth-seeded Hofstra has been moved indoors. The first serve is at 12 noon.
