Women's Soccer Signs Three

Boston University Women's Soccer Head Coach Nancy Feldman announced the addition of three student-athletes who will attend Boston University and play soccer for the Terriers next fall.
The student-athletes who have signed National Letters of Intent are:
Brooke Bingham, a central midfielder from Duxbury, MA, who scored 68 goals and had 76 assists in her high school career while attending Duxbury High School. She was a two-time Eastern Massachusetts and Division II All-State selection, and a two-time Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic team member. She was also the 2001 Patriot Ledger Player of the Year. She plays club soccer for the Boston Bolts, who were state champions in 2000 and 2001. In addition, Bingham played on the Massachusetts State Team from 1997-2001 and was an Adidas ESP All Star in 2001.
Meghann Cook, a forward from Melrose, MA, was an Eastern Massachusetts All-Star and All-State selection both her junior and senior years while attending Bishop Fenwick High School. She earned All-New England honors and was the Division II and Boston Globe Player of the Year her senior year. Cook was also the MVP for the Catholic Central League while leading Bishop Fenwick to the Division II North final. Cook, along with future Terrier teammate Brooke Bingham, also plays club for the Boston Bolts, winning two State championships in 2000 and 2001. She was a member of the Massachusetts State Team from 1996-2000.
Brittany McDonald, a defender from Lindenhurst, NY, was a three-time varsity MVP for Lindenhurst High School. She earned All League honors two years in a row, in addition to All-County and All-State honors in 2001. McDonald plays club soccer for the HBC Fury, who were 2001 regional champions and earned three state championships from 1999-2001. In addition, she has been a member of the ENY State Team since 1997.
"We are excited to welcome this talented group that will make up our 2002 incoming class", says Coach Feldman., "they are terrific players and we expect they will make an immediate contribution to our program. We are thrilled to have Brooke, Meghann, and Brittany join our squad".
The Terriers won the America East Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year in 2001. Boston University will face one of the toughest schedules in the history of the program in 2002, including seven 2001 NCAA tournament teams.
