ALBANY, NY-Four different Terriers scored goals and senior Jessica Clinton and redshirt freshman Rebekah Conway combined for a shutout as the Terrier women's soccer team blanked host University of Albany, 4-0, in an America East game on Thursday.

The win kept the Terriers undefeated in league action as they are now 3-0-1. The victory improved the team's overall record to 7-4-4, while Albany slipped to 1-15-1 overall and 0-5-0 in the league.

Sophomore Susan Marschall scored the only goal the Terriers would need at the 24:39 mark of the game when she took a pass from senior Emily Dionne. Marschall, who would later earn an assist on a goal by sophomore Melissa Shulman, chipped the ball over Albany goalkeeper Beth Spinelli for the 1-0 lead.

Shulman upped the lead to 2-0 with her eighth goal of the season at 33:54. Marschall passed the ball to Shulman, who came in on the right side and drilled the ball past Spinelli.

The Terriers, who outshot the Great Danes, 12-0, in the first half, took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.

Sophomore Meghann Cook made it 3-0 with her second goal of the season at 68:55 when she took a pass from sophomore Ashley Chassar, dribbled around Spinelli, and put the ball in the open net.

Senior Rebecca Beyer closed out the scoring at 86:25 when she headed the ball in from the right side. Sophomore Jena Harb earned her first collegiate point with an assist.

Clinton was forced to make just one save in 75:35 minutes of action, while Conway, who made her first collegiate appearance, played the final 14:25 and did not have to make any saves. The Terriers outshot the Great Dane, 28-1, as Spinelli had 10 saves in the Albany goal.
