BOSTON, MA--Terrier women's soccer senior co-captain Jessica Clinton (Valley Stream, NY) along with sophomores Brooke Bingham (Duxbury, MA) and Brittany McDonald (Lindenhurst, NY) received All New England honors from the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association.
Clinton and Bingham were named to the First Team, while McDonald was selected a Second Team All-Star.
Clinton, who is the 2003 America East Goalkeeper of the Year, was the Terriers' goalie of record in all 23 games this season. She compiled a 12-6-5 record along with a .90 goals against average and an .805 save percentage. Seven of her 12 victories came via shutouts. In America East Conference action, she posted four shutouts en route to a 7-1-1 record, along with a 0.43 goals against average and an .857 save percentage.
She had a season-high eight saves each against the University of Maine in the America East title game and the University of Connecticut in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
With her totals this past season, Clinton established school career records for wins with 37, shutouts with 19, and saves with 312.

Bingham, a First Team All-Conference selection as well, started all 23 of the Terriers' games this past season. She finished with 4 goals and 5 assists for 13 points, as she tied for second on the team in assists and tied for third in scoring. Her goals came in four different games-Delaware, UMBC, Vermont, and Northeastern, while she had two assists each against UMass and Binghamton. Her fifth assist was against Dartmouth.
McDonald, the America East Defensive Player of the Year this past season, started at back in all 23 games. She led the Terrier defense that allowed only 22 goals in 23 games and posted a 5-1-0 record in the last six regular-season games, all against Conference opponents.
After starting the season with a 1-3-1 record after the first five games, the Terriers bounced back to post an 11-3-4 mark in the final 18 games. Picked to finish second in America East in the pre-season poll of the conference coaches, the Terriers won the regular-season title with a 7-1-1 record. Then, in the post-season tournament, they defeated New Hampshire, 2-1, in the semifinals, and eliminated Maine on penalty kicks, 3-2, in the title game. It marked the Terriers' third America East regular-season and tournament titles in the past four years.
The Terriers then advanced to the NCAA Tournament where they met the University of Connecticut in the first round. Playing on a wind-swept field, B.U. lost to the Huskies, 1-0. UConn went on to the NCAA title game where it lost to top-seeded University of North Carolina, 6-0.
