Five Softball Terriers Earn NEISCA All-Star Honors

BOSTON - Five Boston University softball players were honored by the New England Intercollegiate Softball Coaches Association on Sunday, May 11. Three Terriers earned Division I First Team accolades, while two others were selected honorable mention.
Senior Kristin Knesek (Humble, Texas) was named as the First Team's second baseman. Sophomore Julie Henneke (Odessa, Fla.) was the Team's utility player, while sophomore DeKenya Williams (San Diego, Calif.) was selected as the designated player.
Sophomore Jamie Haas (Houston, Texas) was chosen as an honorable mention infielder and freshman Erin McDonald (Macon, Ill.) was named as an honorable mention outfielder. McDonald and Central Connecticut State catcher Deb Munson were the only freshman named to the team.
