December 9, 2005 | Softball
BU head softball coach Shawn Rychcik announced the signing of three players to a National Letter of Intent for the 2007 season. Megan Currier, a pitcher from Torrance, Calif., Rachel Moeller, a Pitcher/Utility from San Jose, Calif., and Rachel Hebert, a first baseman from Humble, Texas, will all suit up for BU in 2007.
???We will graduate two seniors this year and our coaching staff has had to work hard to replace them,??? said Rychcik, whose Terriers were 26-19 in his first year as head coach last season. ???We wanted to add depth to our pitching staff and fill the roles our graduating seniors at the same time. I think we have done that with some terrific talent.???
