October 27, 2006 | Field Hockey
BOSTON - Senior co-captain Erin Prediger, one of the top goalkeepers in the history of Boston University field hockey, has been selected to participate in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I Senior All-Star Game on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Wake Forest University.
Prediger has earned the second most wins in program history, posting a 49-28-0 record in goal during her career with the Terriers. The senior has been the starter in the BU cage in 77 of the team's last 79 contests, only missing the first two contests of the 2005 campaign due to a preseason injury.
A 2005 America East First-Team All-Conference selection, Prediger has recorded a 1.56 goals against average during her career and her shutout total of 18 ranks fifth in program history.
Prediger is the lone player from the America East named to the All-Star Game's roster. The game will take place on the off day between the NCAA semifinals and final at Wake Forest's Klockner Stadium.
