
Softball Defeats Central Connecticut, UConn

STORRS, Conn. - The Boston University softball team completed its fall schedule with two wins on Saturday afternoon in Storrs, Conn. The Terriers defeated Central Connecticut, 5-2, in game one and then edged Connecticut, 5-3, in game two. Sophomore Megan Currier earned the win against CCSU, while junior Cassidi Hardy picked up the victory against the Huskies.
Against Central Connecticut junior Christy Leath smacked a two-run home run to give the Terriers the lead. In the second game Hardy earned the win in the cirle, while freshman Kelley Engman picked up the save. Sophomore Rachel Moeller provided the offensive power against the Huskies, driving in four runs.
BU finished its fall slate with a 4-1 record.
